80th Anniversary Celebration - Angler's Lodge & Casting Ponds

The Angler’s Lodge and Casting Ponds were built in 1938 and we are celebrating their 80th Anniversary this year with a big Celebration Party on Saturday, May 12, starting at 12 noon. 

The SF Rec & Park Dept. is partnering with the Golden Gate Angling & Casting Club to host this special public event, including a free BBQ Tri-tip lunch with all the trimmings.  

We are asking everyone to click on the REGISTER button for this FREE event to help us with the food planning.  If you should have more than one person in your party, then please simply indicate the number of these extra people as "Additional guests" in your registration or, if you prefer, you can also register multiple times to provide the requested count.

The monthly Free Fly Casting Lessons on the Ponds offered to the Public are being held this day from 9:30 AM - 12 noon, so we encourage everyone to REGISTER separately on the calendar event for that event also to join us for a full day of casting fun and celebration at the Golden Gate casting ponds.  Due to the party on this day, there will be no Skills Building Class this month.
