This is the 1st of (6) Thursday night sessions for this Rod Building Workshop #3, taught by Larry Kenney. Note: There will be NO class on Thursday, Jan. 14.
Learn to build a fly rod by doing it.
Participants will be taken through everything from choosing and purchasing a blank and components to installing reel seats, making cork grips, wrapping guides and finishing guide wraps. There is no fee for this class, but the participants are responsible for acquiring their own blanks, components, and a few simple tools.

For those inclined to book learning, Larry recommends reading: Art Scheck's Fly Rod Building Made Easy, published by Countryman Press (2002 and 2014)
