This will be a guided Rondy and camp-out for 12 anglers on Davis Lake on June 23-25. This lake is well known for its prolific Damsel Fly hatch in the morning, as well as the great Hexagenia Mayfly hatch in the evening -- either of which may be going off during this rondy.

Our guides John Baiocchi and Rob Anderson have been fishing this lake and teaching anglers advanced Stillwater fishing techniques for over 15 years.

Weekend Information:

Registrants can show up any time after 3:00pm at the guides' campsite at Grasshopper Flat #16 on Friday afternoon. Bring your rods and reels and your fishing license. The guides' plan is to log-in licenses and help you rig up your rods first.  Then, at 5:00 pm, they'll review a detailed handout that they will have for everyone and basically go over everything then so that you can fish as much as possible on Saturday and Sunday. The weather and the fishing will determine Friday and Saturday night’s events so be ready for anything, including fishing the Hex hatch or sitting around a campfire talking fishing. They will also show a great PowerPoint Presentation right around dark on Friday night after dinner.

This Rondy is for experienced anglers ONLY and is NOT for current participants in the Learn to Fly Fish Program or other beginners.

There will be a pre-meeting for this Rondy (date TBD).

The cost for this Rondy is $350, which includes a non-refundable $25 Rondy fee. It also includes two full days of guided fishing, the guides' clinic, the campground fee, lunch on both days, and a dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Not included are your travel expenses, breakfast food, adult beverages and snacks, flies, or guide gratuities.
