The club is pleased to host a Long Line Competitive Casting Workshop on Saturday and Sunday, January 28 & 29, 2017.
Guest Instructor Travis Johnson, the 2014 Spey-O-Rama Men's Champion, will teach this dynamic two-day workshop. The Club Sponsor is Whitney Gould.
This workshop will be specifically designed to teach Spey casters the techniques for competitive long line casting and to encourage their participation in the 2017 GGACC Spey-O-Rama to be held on April 22 & 23. This class is suitable for beginner and intermediate Spey casters.
Students will need to provide their own equipment, including rods, lines, waders, and boots.
Open to casters who can supply their own 13.5’ or longer Spey rod set-up with long belly line suitable for Spey-O-Rama competition. Switch or shorter Spey rods, and Skagit or Scandi lines are not suitable for this workshop.
Pond equipment needed from club: SOR measurement markers.
