  • Golden Gate Anglers Lodge & Casting Ponds

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) program classes for disabled veterans are being held by GGACC volunteers, in cooperation with SF VA Medical Center, every other Wednesday from 10:00AM to 2:00PM at the Anglers' Lodge in Golden Gate Park.

These PHWFF classes will included fly casting, fly tying, and other fly fishing related activities.  They will utilize the main meeting room in the lodge, the kitchen and, depending on the day's activities, also the West casting pond -- all of which are reserved for this program on the alternate Wednesday class days, beginning on January 25, 2017 and running through May 3, 2017.  Use of the club's facilities for this new program has been approved by the GGACC Board.

These classes are open to ONLY those disabled veterans and disabled active service personnel identified, selected, and determined to be qualified "participants" by the SF VA Medical Center, as well as to only those GGACC members who have volunteered their time and skills to assist with the club's PHWFF program.  The classes are free for all vet participants.
