Description: The favorite fishery of many Deep Canyon Outfitter guides, the McKenzie River originates high in the Cascade Mountains exiting Clear Lake and travels 85 miles to its confluence with the Willamette. It flows through sharp rock and dense Douglas Fir forests creating a unique rainbow trout fishery.
Rich in both fly fishing and white water boating history, the McKenzie is a great choice for all levels of angler. The sections of the river where our guides focus their fishing efforts are routinely stocked with rainbow trout throughout the spring, summer, and fall to supplement the beautiful native Redbands. You will be floating the river in McKenzie style drift boats, specifically design for fishing white water.
After your productive day of fishing your guides will take you to a beautiful lodge right on the river where mouthwatering meals will compliment the already great day. The lodge, with showers and comfortable accommodations offers a level of sophistication to these fishing trips. Kick your feet up and enjoy a cocktail on the McKenzie with Deep Canyon Outfitters!

Suggested Gear: 4-5 wt single handed fly rods, with floating lines
Cost: The fee for this Rondy is $1,091.50
Other expenses will be guide gratuities, transportation, and lodging the nights before and after the trip.
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. In the event that a member is, for any reason, unable to attend, he may resell his slot (rod) to another GGACC member (by first pulling from the waitlist if one exists). It is the sole responsibility of the member to manage this transaction. This is not the responsibility of the leader or club.
