This month's program:  Introduction to Tenkara

Garth Thompson will present an introduction to Tenkara workshop on July 13th from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.   Tenkara is a traditional form of fly fishing from Japan that has recently seen a growing popularity in the States.   It uses extremely lightweight rods with a fixed line, and is both fun and affordable.  This session will cover the basics of Tenkara fly fishing that will include information on the history, gear, knots, and tactics that are often used.

All participants are requested to register for this event beforehand (whether or not there is any limit shown on the registration for this event) in order to gauge the expected size of the audience.
