Restricted Access to Lodge and Ponds for Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival 10/4-10/6

The Angler's Lodge and casting ponds are likely within the restricted access zone for the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 2019 music festival held over this 3-day weekend, October 4-6, 2019.  While it might be possible to walk in (if you can find a nearby parking place) or to bicycle there, all private vehicle access into our club's parking lots is likely to be very restricted, if not completely forbidden. 

There are likely to be guarded barricades up this weekend on all park entrances east of Spreckels Lake, on the 36th Avenue north entrance into the park, and at the intersection of JFK Drive and Chain of Lakes Rd. west of the Anglers Lodge driveway that limit vehicular access to both parking lots. 

Access to the ponds may also be restricted on one or more days before and after the festival for both its set-up and take-down.
