The World Championship of Spey Casting

The Golden Gate Angling and Casting club is pleased to invite competitors to the upcoming annual Jimmy Green Spey-O-Rama World Championship of Spey Casting held this year from Friday, April 22 to Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the world renowned casting ponds located in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park.

The GGACC cordially invites competitors from around the world as well as in our backyard to register here for this Spey casting distance competition. For more information and a detailed schedule for this year's event, see the second (public) posting for this Jimmy Green Spey-O-Rama event on the club's calendar for April 22-24, 2022; or click on the "Spey-O-Rama" pull-down tab on the club homepage. 

Meals (all breakfasts and lunches, and the Saturday dinner) are complimentary to each of the registered competitors.

There will be a $140 USD registration fee for each competitor, for Mens Open, Womens and Seniors (age 55 and older, male or female) due on site, at the beginning of the event.  

The overview schedule for the Spey-O-Rama 2022 is:

April 22: Exhibits, Registration, Competition Casting Practice (and if needed, a possible Senior Qualifying Round)
April 23: Exhibits, Competition Qualifying Round for the Men's Open Division, a presentation and dinner for the exhibitors, volunteers and competitors. 

April 24: Exhibits; Spey Casting Competition Finals for all 3 Divisions, Awards Ceremony
