GGACC and BAYFF Youth Casting

We are pleased to be offering youth-only casting sessions led by Certified Casting Instructors as well as a knot-tying course at the Golden Gate Angling & Casting Club (GGACC) in partnership with the Bay Area Youth Fly Fishers (BAYFF). The first session is Sunday, July 9th, 2023 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The course will be focused on novice casters between the ages of 10 and 13 or 5th to 7th grades. Rods and knot-tying needs are supplied for young casters.  We will keep the two casting sessions to one hour each with the alternate hour being the knot-tying and afterwords lunch will be served.

For ages 10-13, A parent or Guardian must be in attendance during the entire event and the release must be signed.

09:30 am       Casting and Knot tying session Group I (one) begins 

10:30 am       Break

10:45 am       Casting and Knot tying session Group II (two) begins

11:45 am       Lunch (youth tickets for lunch included) *additional lunch tickets may be purchased for $5 each)

12:30 pm        Wrap up
