The Golden Gate Angling and Casting Club is fortunate to present Mr. Leonard Curry, author of his recently released book: “The Irresistibles”.  A memoir chronicling a 45 year brotherhood of fishermen and a tribal chief, and their adventures catching steelhead and salmon in the Sequoia River lands.   Leonard is an accomplished attorney, fly-fisherman, fly tier, public speaker, and author. Please join us as he speaks of a lifetime of fishing stories and introduces his new book:

Leonard C. Curry 

Is an attorney who was practiced law in northern California for more then forty-three years. He is married to his beloved Carol and proudly boasts that he is a loving father, stepfather, father-in-law, and grandfather of three. He has been a fly-fisher and fly tier for more than forty years, and is a familiar face on steelhead and trout rivers throughout Northern California. A graduate of St. Mary’s College, Leonard lives along the Russian River near Healdsburg, where his family grows fine wine grapes and where he is known to temp lurking fish with yellow spider flies.  Leonard has been a real life Irresistible since 1983 and is an enthusiastic advocate for the restoration of all anadromous rivers and streams, and sustainable watershed practices.
