Nelson Ishiyama
A club icon, in addition to being the founder and owner operator of the Henry’s Fork Lodge in Island Park, ID. Nelson is an attorney and former Board Member of the GGACC. As knowledgeable and skilled with a bamboo fly rod in his hands as anyone on any river anywhere, Nelson has fished the world, landing multiple species on a fly. Having fished the Henry’s Fork River for over 50 years Nelson is living legend of that river. Today, when not attending to his guests at the lodge, Nelson spends time fishing in his own backyard. His ties are innovative, meticulous and renown, and his secret flies remain a treasure to this day.
Bruce Raskin
Bruce, a former board member of the Henry’s Fork Foundation, has forgotten more about fishing the Henry’s Fork than most people will ever know. A committed champion of conservation, an expert caster and skilled rod builder, Bruce was the executive editor of Time Inc.'s Parenting magazine. He now spends 5 months a year living in Island Park on the Henry’s Fork River fishing, tying flies, and experimenting with innovative methods to trick fish. Along with Nelson, Bruce is widely acknowledged as a true expert of the Henry’s Fork River.
